The dirndl 2012 takes the spring colors of the PANTONE fashion report as a model. Soon it is again – the Dirndl season has arrived and with it the new collections of all those costume designer whom the Dirndl is the heart. In addition to traditional Dirndl and Trachten manufacturers a number of young designers have emerged in recent years that illuminate the Dirndl in all its facets and interpret modern. How it looks now, the Dirndl 2012? The dirndl 2012 is on the one hand, increasingly oriented to the style of the 1950s and look is knee-length in the petticoat, the underskirt may flash vigorously out. Froschgoscherl, rose ruffle & co. is not saved. The designs are either traditional Dirndl patterns borrowed from and include the entire repertoire of the popular costumes fabrics mostly in the traditional colors of green, red, pink, blue and black. But also modern fabric designs, Sari fabrics and lace are processes which add an international touch to the good old Dirndl.

More than ever the Dirndl is reserved not only traditionalists, but popular and cosmopolitan party dress, which is worn to various parties or just to go out. The work dress yesterday belongs today to the modern lifestyle and strengthens the feeling of togetherness in the celebrations but are no limits the diversity of providers in the Alpine region of individuality.
